Good Things are Happening!
I am excited to share with you that the first phase of a special Worship Center upgrade at Hope has begun. Over the next several weeks, you will notice some changes in our Worship Center. First, the carpet on our stage is being changed. We also plan to change the sound panels that surround the stage, do some painting, and upgrade our stage lighting. This will be an ongoing process that we have been looking forward to for some time. We do not anticipate that the construction will impact our Sunday morning worship services, but it might lead to us adjusting where we meet for the prayer meeting or The Chosen on Wednesday evenings.
This project was made possible through a generous legacy gift from a member of our Hope Church family. I ask you to kindly pardon our dust through this process; you may need to use your “sanctified” imagination for a bit as we are under construction, but I am confident that the end result will be a blessing as we strive to go deep in our faith and wide in our influence together. As we go through this process, I have been reminded of the timely words of the Apostle Paul when he writes… “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.” (Ephesians 3:20-21a ESV) He is so good! I am grateful for the things God is doing at Hope.
I hope that you were able to join us this past weekend. We were all challenged to enter into an intentional community – a group where we can love and be loved, where we can share our burdens, and experience the type of friendships that God has called us to have.
