Sunday Morning Classes will begin in-person on October 11

Faith in Jeopardy (Apologetics) led by Jeff Laird 9:00 am  (8 weeks)

Using the “Jeopardy” game show as a model, this class will cover the main categories of doubt or criticism that people struggle with, in the Christian faith. Hot-button topics most often seen as a threat to the Christian worldview will be separated into categories and sub-questions to explore. The goal is to give people greater confidence in their faith and provide a better comfort level at answering (or resisting) challenges by others.

The Plan of the Ages led by Dayle Keefer 11:00 am (8 weeks)

Bring your Bibles and be ready to explore from Genesis to Revelation God’s “Plan of the Ages.” Topics include the creation of man to have dominion over the earth; Satan’s origin, fall, and evil plan; God’s promise of the Messiah; Jesus birth in perspective; Calvary’s cross; and the restored dominion to believers.

Membership Class led by George & Mary Beth Pana 11:00 am (6 weeks)

This class will examine the purpose of the church, and the importance, requirements, and responsibilities of membership.  We next explore the history, structure, beliefs, and core values of the Chrisitan & Missionary Alliance of which Hope Church is a part and the role of being a peacemaker in our families and the church.

Online Classes will begin on October 13

Altar of the Unknown (Worldviews) (6 weeks): by Jeff Laird 7:00-8:30 pm Tuesday

This class will look into alternative worldviews in a non-threatening overview of those faiths, why people believe them, and how we as Christians can gently and productively discuss or interact with such persons. Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Pseudo-Christianity, Atheism, and Paganism will be some of the belief systems explored and compared to Biblical Christianity.
