Our Sprouts ministry is an environment created especially for your infants through preschool-aged children.  We know things are busy at this stage of life, and your children are learning and growing in amazing ways. We are ready for them and can’t wait to meet them!

We look forward to helping your preschoolers learn more about God and partnering with you in the spiritual growth of your child.
All of our lessons revolve around three basic truths that we want every child to learn:

God MADE me.

God LOVES me.

Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.

WHAT WE DO

On Wednesday nights, we combine all Sprouts age birth – preschool for interactive activities that reinforce the Bible story.  On Sunday mornings, Sprouts are divided into the following classrooms:

Infants – In our infant room, we provide kids with a place where they feel safe and cared for and can begin to learn how to trust God and others. We want your baby to feel God’s love through our compassionate volunteers. You can indicate any allergies on your child’s check in sticker; however, alerting our teachers of severe allergies provides an extra layer of protection. Once your child is checked in, you will be given a sticky label to put on his/her back.  You will receive a claim ticket that matches your child’s check-in sticker that you will present to the teacher to pick up your child. You will also receive an extra name tag sticker for your diaper bag. If your baby is crying and unable to be soothed by our team, we will page you in the service.

Walkers – Once children become confident walkers, we put them in the walker room where they can be more mobile and have age-appropriate activities to help them grow in their trust in God.  We offer a safe environment where they can be cared for by our compassionate volunteers as they learn about God’s love for them. There is a snack time, so please indicate any allergies when checking in for the first time – this prints on the name tags, which go on children’s backs.  Also, alerting our teachers of severe allergies at drop-off provides an extra layer of protection. Upon check-in, parents receive an extra name tag for diaper bags and a claim ticket that matches children’s check-in stickers to present to the teacher at pick-up time. We want kids to have positive experiences at church, so if a child is upset and unable to be soothed by our team, the parent will be paged in the service.

Toddlers – We plan a full hour for your child that includes Bible stories, songs, crafts, games, and best of all, small group time for prayer and discussion. The morning will start with MAKE IT FUN that includes hands-on activities designed to make your child feel drawn into their classroom. Next, they MAKE IT TRUE in a large group setting where the children hear the truth of God’s Word and rejoice through worship. This is a great time they will not want to miss. Ask them about it! After large group, they MAKE IT STICK with a craft or activity based on the day’s lesson. PARENT CUE is our weekly take home that shares with you what your child learned so that we can partner with you as you talk with them at home about what they are learning.  There is a snack time during class, so please indicate any allergies when checking in for the first time – this prints on the name tags, which go on children’s backs.

Preschoolers – Once children are in preschool, they are dismissed from service after several worship songs with their families.  Time for family worship is important to us. When children are dismissed, they will meet their small group leaders and head to their classroom in the Clubhouse to hear the Bible story for the day. In the MAKE IT TRUE setting, they will hear the truth of God’s Word. This is a great time they will not want to miss – ask them about it! Preschoolers MAKE IT STICK with a craft or activity based on the day’s lesson. Then, they MAKE IT REAL with a discussion time to help kids apply what they have learned. PARENT CUE is our monthly take-home that shares with you what your child learned so that we can partner with you as you talk with them at home about what they are learning.  There is usually a snack time in the preschool class, so please indicate any severe allergies when checking in for the the first time.  This will print on the child’s name tag, which goes on his/her back.

Our Sprouts ministry is available during the 9:00 & 11:00 Sunday services and 6:30 on Wednesday.
